VGMA IS NOT BIASED- ADINA THEMBI
Fast Rising Afro pop
and Rnb Singer Adina Thembi has stated that she has never doubted the
credibility of the Vodafone Ghana music Awards despite controversies
surrounding the event.
Her comments comes at
a time where the credibility of the Vodafone Ghana music Awards is been
questioned by many following a statement made by the Head of Communications for charter House George Quaye.
George Quaye alleged that Gospel musicians are the ones who attempt to bribe
the most. He said this on the pundits show which airs on GHONE TV.
Regardless of this,
Adina who is known for her hit single “Too Late” told the host of Radio Gij’s mid-morning coffee
show, Uncle Dj Rob that She does not see the awards scheme as being bias.
“I believe there is a
whole diverse body and it’s not bias. I feel like it’s a lot of people coming
together to make a decision” she said.
Speaking on her
upcoming projects, the 2008 winner of Stars of the Future said she’s working on
a video for her single with Akwaboah and will soon release it. The singer also
denied being in a relationship with Trigmatic saying that they were good
friends.
