MY ROLE IS NOT THE SAME AS CHIEF OF STAFF-YAW OSAFO MAAFO
Senior minister nominee Hon. Yaw Osafo- Marfo has stated that his role is different from that of the chief of staff. He made the clarification when asked by a member of the vetting committee if his role was any different from that of the chief of staff. In defining his job description, He said his role was to coordinate all economic sectors of the government unlike the chief of staff who was responsible for coordinating all activities surrounding the president. The vetting committee began its work earlier today at parliament house and is expected to vet yaw Osafo Maafo senior minister nominee, Kan Dapaah national security minister nominee and others. The committee which is chaired by joseph Osei owusu is expected to extend its work to tomorrow January 21, 2017 in order to vet other ministerial nominees as well. Source: ghnewsbillboard.blogspot.com
