VGMA 'FAN PARK' WITH KWAW KESSE Joey B, Pappy Kojo, EL and Gasmila Set For Oxford Street 




n line with this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) theme – “Ignited by Passion and Powered by 25 million fans” – Vodafone Ghana through its sponsorship has made it possible for more people to experience Ghana’s biggest music event by creating the VGMA Fan Park at the Osu Oxford Street.

Thousands of Ghanaians will on 11 April, experience Ghana’s biggest music night on giant screens as well as live performances by some of the VGMA nominees and celebrated artistes including Joey B, Pappy Kojo, EL, Gasmila and Kwaw Kesse, on the most popular and busiest street in Ghana.

Commenting on the VGMA Fan Park, Agnes Emefa Essah, Marketing Director at Vodafone Ghana said: “Only a few Ghanaians are able to experience this most anticipated music event in Ghana due to venue and other logistical constraints.

The Fan Park, which promises to be an exciting event, is in response to the numerous feedback we have received from Ghanaians. This year, we are giving more people the opportunity to experience the VGMA in a way that has never happened before”.

Since 2011, Vodafone has delivered world-class music and entertainment experiences to Ghanaians and celebrated the creativity and achievements of talented Ghanaian musicians, through the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).

Robbers Invade Church During Vigil, Rape Ladies Armed robbers raped seven ladies at the New Generation church during deliverance at a vigil.   Seven ladies who went for vigil for deliverance at New Generation Church, located at 2nd Cemetery Road, Benin -City, were allegedly raped by armed bandits who stormed the church at about 4am on Thursday. Vanguard newspaper reports that the robbers had earlier raided a  building near Ewuotubu community where they robbed some tenants living in four different flats in the compound.
